Stratford’s Queen’s Inn furniture donated to Habitat for Humanity

It’s your chance to own a part of Stratford history for a good cause.
The BMI Group, owners of the Queen’s Inn in the city, donate all of the furniture in it to the Habitat for Humanity Heartland Stratford Restore with the property transforming into part of the Marriott portfolio.
BMI Group Facilities Manager Leonard Stannard says the store’s workers began taking loads away from the hotel on Thursday morning and it’s expected they may not be done bringing things over until Friday.
He says there’s something for everyone.
“Tables, chairs, beds, lamps, pictures, televisions, coffee tables, end tables, basically anything you’d find in a hotel room.”
The items will go on sale as soon as they are brought to the store.
