Three local meat processors are getting a funding boost for a total of $396,000.
Golden Valley Farms and Domingos Meats, both from Arthur, and Atwood Heritage Processing are the recipients of the money through the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership Program.
Perth-Welliington MPP Matthew Rae says the funds will go towards making upgrades that will increase production capacity, and efficiency, as well as maintain Ontario’s high food safety standards.
