An Influenza A outbreak has been declared over at the Stratford General Hospital.
Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance officials say it was first declared on the Medicine Unit on February 19th.
It has now been reopened to admissions and transfers with family and caregiver presence on the unit has also been restored.
While the outbreak is over, officials say they can’t stress enough the importance of layering up your protection to help prevent the spread of respiratory illnesses that are circulating in the region.
