Two local organizations are coming together to help those most in need.
The Kinsmen Club of Stratford partnered up with the Stratford Rotary Club and donated $15,000 to the Rotary Aquabox program.
On April 6th, over 500 boxes were prepared for shipping to Global Medic, a non-profit disaster response organization of paramedics and first responder volunteers.
The boxes are low-cost filtration system that can provide purified drinking water to a family of five for up to a year.
They will be sent to areas including Latin America and the Ukraine.
