Avon school board names new Director of Education

There is a new Director of Education at the Avon Maitland District School Board.
The Board of Trustees for the AMDSB says Doctor Graham Shantz is taking over the role after twenty-six years with the Waterloo Region District School Board.
His most recent position was Associate Director and he’s also worked in other positions including as a teacher and principal.
Shantz replaces Doctor Lisa Walsh who served as Director for the past 7 years.
