Get ready for a jolt at the gas pump.
President of Canadians for Affordable Energy Dan McTeague says the average price for a litre of gas in Ontario is set to shoot up 14 cents overnight Wednesday night.
It comes as a result of a switch over from winter to summer gasoline.
McTeague says drivers will see the price around 179.9 cents a litre when they go to fill up tomorrow, the highest it has been since August 2022.
