Two county teams in Sutherland Cup playoffs

Two Perth County teams are lacing up the skates for the Sutherland Cup Junior B Hockey championship.

Listowel Cyclones won the Midwestern Division title over the Stratford Warriors in five games while the St. Marys Lincolns won the Western Junior B league crown in an exciting seven game series over the London Nationals.

They will be joined by the Fort Erie Meteors, who tripped up Caledonia in seven games. Round-robin play gets underway Friday. Each team plays home and away before the top two face off in a seven-game series for the junior b championship.

Friday, April 19: Fort Erie @ Listowel 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, April 20: St. Marys @ Fort Erie 7 p.m.

Sunday, April 21: Listowel @ St. Marys 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday, April 24: Listowel @ Fort Erie 7 p.m.

Friday, April 26: Fort Erie @ St. Marys 7:30 p.m.

Sunday, April 28: St. Marys @ Listowel 7:30 p.m.
