Tuition-free multiple trades program accepting applications

This might be the perfect opportunity if you’ve been thinking about a career in the skilled trades.
The Technical Training Group’s Pre-Apprenticeship Multiple Trades Exposure Program is now accepting applications.
The 25-week tuition-free program takes place in Stratford and includes an eight-week paid work placement with the deadline to apply May 15 and the course starting on June 1.
TTG Program Manager Liz Balletto says the program focuses on welding, metal fabricating, and general machining.
“The goal is to get more people with those foundational skills to start moving into these careers.”

Balletto adds that the program is funded in part by the federal and provincial governments.
