More than $1.5 million in provincial funding is on the way for local health units.
Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae says the funding helps supportĀ programs and services.
The money restores the provincial base funding to the level previously provided under the 2020 cost-share formula and provides 1 per cent growth base funding for the 2024 calendar year.
It’s part of a larger $91.7 million investment in additional one-time and base funding for Public Health Units across Ontario.
The total additional one-time and base funding for Huron Perth Public Health comes to $1.482 million.
