Stratford Warriors holding spring camp this week

We could be seeing the future of the Stratford Warriors before our very eyes.
The team is holding its spring camp from Wednesday to Saturday at the Stratford Rotary Complex and management say it’s an opportunity for all kinds of prospects from in and around the area to be seen.
Director of Hockey Operations Jason Clarke says they use the camp to identify players who will become future Warriors.
“It’s a really important process for us to bring these players in and give them a little taste of our program if they don’t know much about it.”
The on-ice sessions are open for the public to come watch.
The Warriors made it to the Cherrey Cup Final this past season but ended up falling in five games to the Listowel Cyclones.
The 2024-25 regular season gets underway, following training camp, in early September with the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League yet to release the schedule.
