The City of Stratford’s environmental services division is performing a “smoke test” on Tuesday on a sanitary sewer.
The test will occur near the intersection of Brydges Street and Home Street.
A smoke test is a process that blows non-toxic smoke into the sanitary sewer to determine if there are any plumbing issues within a specific area.
Some residual smoke may be visible but the smoke is harmless, the city said on a social media page.
Stratford Fire Department has been notified in case there are any calls regarding the visible smoke.
