St. Marys Catholic School in Listowel is getting a big funding boost.
Perth Wellington MPP Matthew Rae’s $5.8 million funding announcement will see 150 new student spaces open up along with 98 childcare spaces.
Rae noted that the North Perth community has grown rapidly.
The project is part of $1.3 billion to more than double funding to build new schools and expansions, with 27,000 new student spaces and more than 1,700 licensed childcare spaces.
Rae said in a media release that he is focused on working with local school boards and municipalities to ensure necessary investments to support growth.
