An older playground in the city is getting some new equipment.
City council on Monday night approved the replacement of the playground equipment at Milton Street Park.
The price tag is just north of $153,000.
The equipment is more than 20-years-old, which exceeds recommended guidelines of replacement after 15 years.
Kiwanis Club of Stratford has offered $25,000 towards the upgrade.
The design includes an accessible pathway and playground and an engineered woodchip base.
