OPP seize $25K in drugs, cash, motorcycle

Search warrants executed by Perth County OPP have resulted in the seizure of a significant haul of drugs, cash and a presumed stolen Suzuki motorcycle.

The community street crime unit based out of the local detachment were assisted by several other police services on June 13, after a drug trafficking investigation in Perth and Huron counties.

Search warrants were executed in Mitchell and Brussels.

A 50-year-old male from West Perth is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl and methamphetamine, amongst other charges.

A Huron East man, 42, faces charges that include possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl.

Police seized a quantity of drugs worth $25,000. More than $5,000 worth of seized property and Canadian currency was also recovered.

Accused are in custody pending a bail hearing. The investigation continues.
