Waterloo resident dead after collision north of Milverton

Perth OPP report a pedestrian is dead after a collision north of Milverton on Tuesday night.

The collision involved a single motor vehicle and a 47-year-old person from Waterloo.

Police, EMS and the Perth East Fire Department responded to Perth Road 131 around 11 p.m.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

Perth OPP, with the assistance of the West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement continue to investigate.

Perth Road 131 between Line 67 and Line 72 was closed for several hours to allow for investigation but have since reopened.

Anyone with information including video surveillance, is asked to contact Perth OPP or Crime Stoppers.
