Although some features are not working, the splash pad at the Pyramid Recreation Centre in St. Marys remains open.
The Town of St. Marys says they’ve received inquiries about its status, and notes that a consultant will make recommendations on how to get the facility back to its original condition.
Once those recommendations are completed, town council will decide what to do, and will likely be a part of next year’s budget deliberations.
Residents can share their feedback during that process.
Any changes or improvements to the splash pad will be shared with the public through the Town’s website and social media.
The splash pad at the recreation centre and the Rotary Splash Pad at Cadzow Park are both open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day.
