Police arrived at a break and enter scene at a business while it was in progress early Wednesday morning.
Perth OPP say they responded to a Wallace Avenue North address in Listowel just before 1 a.m. to find a male in the process of trying to break in.
A 30-year-old from North Perth is charged with break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence and possession of break-in instruments.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at Ontario Court of Justice on Sept. 9.
