Stratford Summer Music is into its second weekend.
Artistic Director Mark Fewer says the opening week was a big success, highlighted by a packed house at a local venue, featuring a much-loved performer.
“We are really happy with everything so far we had a really great opening weekend, particularly Sunday (with a) sold out house at Avondale with Angela Hewitt.”
Iranian-Folk music with Tarolinbak are underway at the MusicBarge and perform again at 2:30 p.m., with Miranda Mullholland scheduled for Saturday and Radia performing on the river Sunday.
Tonight, Kellylee Evans, a Juno nominee in 2018, graces the stage at Revival House.
Freeplay duo appear on Saturday at Factory 163. Suba Sankaran and Dylan Bell return after appearing as part of the opening night performance in 2023.
Sunday afternoon at the Avondale Celist Ofra Harnoy performs with Canadian trumpeter Mike Herriott in a performance dubbed, Classical Afternoon.
Harnoy returns to Stratford after nearly 20 years.
