Stratford Summer Music receives more than 140K through government investment

The federal government has announced more than $2.5 million in funding to support 17 festivals, events, and tourist attractions across southern Ontario.

The announcement was made by Filomena Tassi, Minister for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), along with MPs Chad Collins and Lisa Hepfner.

According to a media release, the funding includes $143,325 for the Stratford Summer Music Festival to improve its 2025 programming.

Support aims to attract more visitors and boost the local economy.

The government says the investment reflects commitment to enhancing cultural and tourism experiences, benefiting communities across southern Ontario.
