Stratford man charged with attempted murder in Huron County

Huron OPP report that a 21-year-old Stratford male has been charged with attempted murder.

Police officers from Huron detachment responded to a dispute involving several individuals, at 11:30 p.m. on June 25.

Investigation revealed a victim was attacked with weapons prior to police arriving.

The incident took place at a residence in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh.

In addition to attempted murder, Austin Crawley is charged with two counts of failing to comply with a probation order

The accused is in custody, scheduled to appear today at Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich.
