Native trees will be available at affordable prices as the Tree Power program returns to Perth South.
The partnership between Upper Thames River Conservation Authority and the municipality, which started in 2021, has been well received, with trees selling fast.
The goal is to create a greener and more beautiful community by adding native trees.
Rob Davies, the conservation authority’s forestry and restoration supervisor, says there is good diversity, with nine species available that are well-suited to grow locally.
Sales started this week and they are available for pickup at Kirkton Woodham Community Centre, on Sept. 28.
