One person dead after collision in East-Zorra Tavistock

One person is dead after a single-vehicle collision on Cassell Road in East-Zorra Tavistock.

OPP’s Oxford detachment responded at 8:12 p.m. Sunday (Sept. 1) night, with Perth and Oxford paramedics and Hickson and Tavistock Fire Departments also on scene.

Police said the vehicle left the road and rolled over. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two passengers were taken to hospital via Air Ornge and ambulance with minor injuries.

Cassell Road was closed for several hours between the 10th and 11th Concession Lines.

Investigators are looking to speak to any witnesses. They are asked to contact Oxford OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
