It’s a parade for everyone and for a good cause.
One Care Home and Community Support Services are gearing up for the Grand Parade.
The seventh annual event, scheduled for Sept. 21 at Upper Queen’s Park, raises money for One Care’s programs and services.
Serving Perth and Huron counties, One Care provides support and care for seniors and those living with health challenges.
The Grand Parade is held across Canada by organizations that support and celebrate aging Canadians. More locally, it’s one of the biggest fundraisers for One Care, with $120,000 raised over the past six years.
Events are also being held in Goderich, Clinton, Exeter and Wingham.
