A call from a concerned resident led Perth OPP to an impaired driver.
At about 2 p.m. on Tuesday, police received a traffic complaint about a potential impaired driver. Police found the vehicle on Perth Line 34, in West Perth.
The driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested at the scene.
A 20-year-old from West Perth faces impaired driving charges.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice next month.
Police implemented a 90-day driver’s license suspension and seven-day vehicle impoundment.
Perth OPP remind the public that if you see anything suspicious or suspect an impaired driver, you should contact your nearest police authority or Crime Stoppers.
