Spend some time this weekend learning and celebrating Indigenous culture at the Stratford Perth Museum’s bi-annual Indigenous Art Market & Culture Celebration.
Returning for its fifth iteration, the museum is hosting the market and celebration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday (Sept. 21).
Stratford Perth Museum’s Kelly McIntosh and Megan Patterson explain that everyone is invited and welcome to attend.
“It’s about cross-cultural communication and about appreciating other people’s culture and hopefully create a respectful dialogue,” said Patterson.
The free event will highlight local artists and features more than 20 different vendors.
“We hope people enjoy and discover new things and just have a lot of fun,” explained Patterson.
The event is rain or shine and will be held at the Stratford Perth Museum’s location on Huron Road.
