Members of the public are invited to apply for a vacant trustee position with the Avon Maitland District School Board.
It’s a vital role that oversees the focus on education as related to the public board’s official plan, said Graham Shantz, AMDSB Director of Education.
Shantz said trustees are passionate about education and advocate for student well-being and achievement.
Although the vacancy is for Perth East, the applicant can live anywhere in Huron or Perth counties.
