OPP says officers across the province will once again be focusing on road safety this Thanksgiving long weekend.
It’s called Operation Impact, and it will run from Friday to Monday.
The OPP says the annual campaign’s goal is to reduce collisions, injuries, and fatalities on Canadian highways by focusing on the “Big 4” – that’s impaired, distracted, and aggressive driving…. as well as those not wearing their seatbelts.
Officials say you can expect to see increased patrols and RIDE programs this weekend.
