Downtown Stratford BIA have sent out a warning: be prepared to be scared.
The BIA are hosting their inaugural downtown Halloween event, and they are inviting costumed kids and pets to trick or treat in the core on Oct. 26.
Downtown businesses and the BIA will hand out treats from the BIA office at 47 Downie Street. You can look for ‘trick or treat here’ posters in shop and restaurant windows throughout the core.
Other events happening through the Halloween season include the BIA’s SCARE bingo cards, where you can fill in a line of five and be eligible to win $100 downtown dollars.
Stratford Ghost Walking Tours are Oct. 25, 26 and 30.
The Stratford Pumpkin Parade is scheduled for Nov. 1 at Market Square. You can drop off your pumpkins in the afternoon. Following the parade, pumpkins will be taken to a local farm and fed to pigs.
