Cat-loving yogis, this one’s for you.
Stratford Perth Humane Society is hosting Yoga with the Animals on Oct. 17. at the shelter on Griffith Road.
Cree Toner from the society explains its a great time to be had for all.
“They’re pretty popular and a lot of fun. So if you’re looking for a way to support us and also relax surrounded by some cute cats and kittens, it’s a great option,” said Toner.
And for the animal-loving kiddos, there is a PA Day Camp on Oct. 25. The camp is for students aged 6 to 12 who want to enjoy a day at the humane society filled with fun activities and games, as well as time with the animals and educational presentations.
There are limited spots left for both the day camp and yoga, so be sure to sign up on their website.
In Taylor Swift related news, the humane society’s Taylor Swift 50/50 ticket raffle is selling well. With a take-home of over $83,000, one lucky winner will be drawn on Nov. 1.
The Humane Society is also encouraging Perth County residents to attend the Taylor Swift Trivia Fundraiser being held on Oct. 23 at 6 p.m. at the Prohibition Warehouse in Kitchener. Pre-registration is required for the event.
