The ‘bony mischief-makers’ are back on Vivian Line

The Skeletons of Vivian Line are back for another season of ‘rib-tickling’ fun.

The fundraiser for Operation Smile Canada, organized by Melissa McKerlie and a small cast of helpers, has arranged more than 200 displays over the years.

They’ve raised more than $136,000 in the last six years for the nonprofit medical service.

Operation Smile provides surgery around the world for children who are born with cleft lips and palettes.

And this is why McKerlie said the displays are so important.

“Its all about making people smile and laugh,” expressed McKerlie.

McKerlie said hundreds of guests enjoy the spirt of the Halloween season thanks to unique, and thoughtful displays on her front lawn that entertain young and old.

“All the skeletons, myself included, all of our bones are shaking with excitement over this year, this is our 11th year of doing the skeletons,” said McKerlie.

The theme this year is The Skeleton Olympics, with displays changing every day.

The Skeletons of Vivian Line begin on Saturday and will run until Halloween.
