A memorial walk is being held on Sunday night in honour of Kassidy Ballantyne-Holmes.
Ballantyne-Holmes died at Stratford General Hospital, age 35, after suffering a gunshot wound at an Ontario Street residence on the morning of Oct. 15.
The walk is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. Participants will make their way around the Avon River to honour the memory of Kassidy.
Organizer Kerry Flood has encouraged bringing candles to walk with. The event will start at the Cenotaph, where a few thoughts will be shared.
A 41-year-old male is charged with second degree murder, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a firearm and weapons trafficking and manufacturing.
