All community members are welcome to attend a Legion Remembrance Day Community Worship being held at Knox @ Copperlight.
The Nov. 3 service at the church (142 Ontario St.) will offer a moment to pause and honour the service, courage and sacrifice of our veterans and current members of the Canadian Forces, according to a media release.
The worship begins at 10:30 a.m. and will be led by Minister Dr. David Thompson, with organist Suzanne Strahan, with Stratford Concert Band as guest musicians.
Per the release, the service will provide an opportunity for residents to pause and reflect on the role that citizens have played in protecting and preserving Canada’s freedoms in times of war, conflict and peace.
