Teamwork often makes the dream work and that’s certainly the case for the Downtown Stratford BIA’s Winter Wander-land.
The month-long program, with a main event this weekend in and around Market Square, is organized by the local BIA, with plenty of help from volunteers, including local downtown businesses.
Santa will be hanging around on Saturday and Sunday and he will be setting up his sleigh to welcome the young and young at heart from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Santa will pose for photos with kids and pets and you can bring by your letters for Santa.
New this year is a polar express battery-operated trackless train, featuring a locomotive and four cars that can seat up to 18 children. It’s equipped with a smoke
machine and a sound in motion sound effects system.
There will also be a giant inflatable snow globe with realistic blowing snow for selfies.
There are lots of other activities happening around Market Square and the downtown, from food trucks to fire pits, and some seasonal offerings from nearby businesses.
You can find out all the Winter Wander-land details at the BIA website.
