Everyone in the family is welcome to the Jingle Paws Holiday Market

The Jingle Paws Holiday Market is back for its second year.

The event, run by Paws on Patrol Stratford, will be held at Evermore at 90 Dunlop Place in Stratford on Saturday from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.

There is no admission charge but donations of pet necessities are encouraged for its Pet Pantry Drive for Stratford House of Blessing Food Bank.

Tyler Jouwsma (JOW-SMA) with Paws on Patrol, said the event is basically the only pet-friendly Christmas market. The inaugural was a big success.

“I was really grateful and blessed by the community support last year…the whole reason we have this holiday market is to collect donations for the Stratford House of Blessing and for Paws on Patrol pet pantry drive.”

Stratford House of Blessing needs more pet necessities, which is often overlooked.

Last year the event raised 880 pounds of pet necessities and $2,000 in cash donations.

The market will have a wide array of offerings, from local vendors selling pet products to a cozy hot beverage bar.

There will also be food trucks, live music and lots of fun events for furry friends.

Both kids and pets can meet Santa and get photos in his sleigh.

There will also be animal communication lessons and dog training demonstrations.

All members of the family are welcome, including four-legged ones.
