West Perth has hired a new chief administrative officer.
The municipality announced Daniel Hobson will start as CAO on Dec. 15, noting extensive experience in municipal governance, policy development, and strategic leadership.
In a release, the municipality said Hobson is, “well-positioned to guide West Perth through its next phase of growth and innovation” and his “leadership in economic development, policy implementation, and team management has earned him a reputation for strategic foresight and operational excellence.”
Hobson said he is honoured to continue serving West Perth after positions as acting co-CAO and municipal clerk.
Mayor Walter McKenzie said his experience and dedication to public service will be a tremendous asset to the municipality.
