ONE CARE Home and Community Support Services is hosting its Gift of Care campaign this year, looking to raise funds from community donations.
The campaign looks to fundraise in order to offer subsidized fees for programs and services the company provides.
Stephanie Ellens-Clark, executive director of ONE CARE Home and Community Support Services, explains what donations can go towards.
“Things like a meal, there might be a senior that can’t afford the Meals on Wheels that we offer, and a donation can help that,” said Ellens-Clark.
The organization offers a variety of services, from exercise classes to transportation, in-home support and adult day programs.
Ellens-Clark said the services are impactful.
“It makes a huge difference in people’s lives.”
She expressed gratitude to the community for donations given to support the services offered by ONE CARE.
“We really appreciate the people in our community that help to keep these services going so that people can stay in their homes,” said Ellens-Clark.
