Two people charged after property recovered in West Perth

A property crime investigation in Perth County has resulted in the recovery of an Arctic Cat snowmobile and two snowmobile trailers.

Perth and Huron OPP were aided in their investigation during the month of December by Stratford Police Service Street Crime Unit and other law enforcement teams.

The Huron Perth Community Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant on Dec. 13 on Line 21 in West Perth.

Police recovered a variety of stolen property, worth an estimated $13,500.

Two people have been charged.

A 29-year-old male and a female, age 33, of West Perth, face charges that include possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

The investigation continues.
