Stratford Winter Pride, an annual arts and entertainment festival supporting the 2SLGBTQI+ community in Stratford and area, returns this month.
A line-up of events are planned over the 10-day festival that supports local community projects.
The Mayor’s Opening Night Reception on Jan. 31 at 7 p.m.
The day after that, Daytime Drag Storytime begins at 10 a.m. at Grayson Mills, and that evening there is a Rainbow Dinner and Dance.
There will be a drag brunch on Feb. 2.
From Feb. 3 – 9, there is a special display and sale of LGBTQ+ books at Fanfare Books
On Feb. 6, there is a reception with the Stratford Festival learning “What’s Queer On Stage at the Festival This Year”.
There is a stand-up comedy night on Feb. 7.
The next day, there are two staged readings of The Laramie Project, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
And to close out the festival, there will be an event on Feb. 9 that includes a special announcement.
