It’s an inspiring afternoon dedicated to empowering business leaders and entrepreneurs.
That’s how organizers describe an upcoming event entitled, Women Leading Boldly: Strategies for Success.
It will feature a panel of accomplished female leaders from the community, as part of an Empowering Women Who Lead series.
The keynote speaker is Morgan Kneider Patterson, an applied positive phycology practitioner and resilience and well-being educator.
Kneider Patterson told MyStratfordNow she is looking forward to empowering women to lead.
“It’s going to be a wonderful day of learning from local female leaders. It’s exciting to spend an afternoon together sharing strategies and strengths, while building one another up. It’s a great opportunity to focus on collaboration instead of competition.”
Other panel members will include Judy Gardiner, a nurse practitioner, Katie DeBlock Boersma, founder of KDB law, Meghan Marshall, with Perth Community Futures Development Corp. and Shelley Windsor, of Windsor Hospitality Group.
The event is a collaboration between Stratford and District Chamber of Commerce and Stratford Perth Centre for Business.
Women Leading Boldy: Strategies for Success is scheduled for Jan. 22 at Grayson Mills.
