United Way Perth-Huron accepting applications to fund local programs

United Way Perth-Huron is now accepting impact funding applications.

The funding provides financial stability for ongoing projects or programs that are part of an organization’s over-arching structure and mission.

Programs must provide service in Perth or Huron county, reduce or prevents poverty or prioritize service to one or more equity-denied and/or vulnerable populations.

Leah Kennedy, United Way Perth-Huron Manager of Community Impact, said the focus continues to be addressing local needs by funding partners that deliver important programs and services responding to poverty mitigation and prioritizing equity-denied groups.”

Programs need to address an urgent need facing the community and be led by a sustainable organization.
