HPPH looking for German-shepherd style dog after incident

Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) are looking for a dog involved in an incident in Stratford.

Public health said the incident happened on Wednesday, from 3-4 p.m., at the intersection of St. David Street and Church Street, near the railway tracks.

The woman walking the dog was wearing a red hat and was on her phone.

The dog is described as large sized, all black in colour, with a German shepherd style appearance.

The health unit is investigating to check the dog’s rabies vaccination status.

HPPH reminds people to always obtain contact information of the owner(s) of the animal involved in an incident.
