Enjoy live concert music this weekend with the Songs and Songwriters event, hosted by the Stratford Concert Band.
Laurence Gauci, conductor with the Stratford Concert Band, says they have a really interesting program set up for this Sunday.
“We are obviously going to play music from some of the more popular songwriters and singers that out there, as well as some music that features songs that maybe people aren’t as familiar with, which is always quite exciting.”
The highlight of the afternoon is the special guest, folk-duo York Street Thought Process.
“They have such a unique and exciting way of engaging the audience as they play, but their music is wonderful.”
The concert takes place at Avondale United Church at 3 p.m.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $5 for students and kids 11 and under are free.
