Time to kick your couch to the curb? Tag it with a large sticker

With spring cleaning right around the corner, Stratford is reminding city residents of the convenience of its large item sticker collection service.

You can purchase a large item sticker, attach it to the oversized item in a visible place and place it on the curb on your designated garbage collection day, and it will be removed by the city’s waste management crew.

The sticker is applicable for large sized or heavy items that don’t fit in regular garbage bags.

These specific stickers are $14 each and can be purchased on the third floor of Stratford city hall or at the Zehrs location on Ontario Street.

One sticker is required per large item.

For more information on the city’s garbage collection, visit Stratford.ca.
