A hockey player and a dragon boater are among the latest athletes set to be inducted into the Stratford Sports Wall of Fame.
Robert White (hockey) and Ben Gerber (dragon boating), will be inducted into the 2025 class at the minor sports council banquet, April 26 at Stratford Rotary Complex.
The 1988 Stratford Memorials Boys Squirt Softball and 1990 Stratford Memorials Boys Peewee Softball will be inducted in the team category.
Ken Gene (dragon boating) will be inducted in the builder category.
Inductees, selected by a committee established by city council, have “brought fame to themselves and their community”, according to the city’s website.
Each inductee is recognized with a plaque and photograph on the wall of fame.
A reception starts at 5 p.m. and dinner starts at 6 p.m.
