It’s a vinyl lover’s dream.
A record sale at the Army, Navy, Air Force Veterans Hall in Stratford on March 30 will feature more than 10,000 records.
Jim Fewer, a vendor and vinyl collector, said everyone loves to dig through collections to see what they can find, including younger collectors.
“It’s like treasure hunting because you just never know what you are going to find.”
Fewer said his best advice is to ask vendors if they have what you are looking for, as the vast collections could take a long time to look through.
There is sure to be something for everyone.
“So albums, 45’s, CDs, come cassettes as well. Any kind of music media is going to be there.”
Most items are typically priced from $5 to $15. But Fewer adds there is some higher end stuff that is rare, unique and may cost a little bit more.
Fewer said classic rocks bands including Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones remain the top sellers are record sales, across generations.
The record sale runs from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Admission is through donations that will go towards Stratford-Perth Humane Society.
