GOJHL playoffs: Nagge’s two-goal effort paces Warriors

Hunter Nagge scored twice to lead Stratford Warriors to a 5-2 road win over the LaSalle Vipers on Wednesday night.

Nagge opened the scoring in the game, and the Warriors cruised to a 2-0 lead in the GOJHL quarterfinal series.

Quinn Kipfer, Drew Hodge and Cole Lewis rounded out the scoring for the Warriors.

Julian Gignac and Alec Stewart scored for the Vipers.

Stratford host Game 3 on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Also Wednesday, Anthony Tudino scored in the second overtime session to lead the London Nationals to a 3-2 win over the visiting Listowel Cyclones.

The Nationals are up 2-0 in their quarterfinal.

Luke McSorley and Ryan Nichols also scored for London.

Chris O’Flaherty and Wylie Birkett scored for Listowel.

St. Marys Lincolns carry a 3-0 series lead at KW Siskins tonight (Thursday), at 7:30 p.m.
