KW Siskins kept their GOJHL playoff dreams alive with a 2-1 double overtime win over theĀ St. Marys Lincolns on Thursday night at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex.
The Lincolns now lead the best-of-seven quarterfinal 3-1.
Ben Oliver scored the winner in the second overtime period. Larson Millar opened theĀ scoring for the Siskins in the second period before Blake Elzinga tied the game for theĀ Lincolns with 18 seconds left in the middle frame.
Game 5 is back in St. Marys tonight (Friday) at 7:30 p.m and Game 6, if needed, would be in Waterloo on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
Also tonight, Stratford Warriors carry a 2-0 series lead into Game 3 of their quarterfinal against the visiting LaSalle Vipers.
The puck drops at 7:30 p.m.
Game 4 is Sunday in LaSalle at 2:30 p.m.
Listowel Cyclones look to get back in their series tonight, facing a 2-0 deficit at home against the London Nationals.
Game 4 is Wednesday, March 26 in London at 7:30 p.m.
