New measles exposure at Listowel Memorial Hospital

In the latest update from Huron Perth Public Health, the organization has alerted the public of a new measles exposure in North Perth.

The exposure occurred at the Listowel Memorial Hospital’s emergency department’s waiting room on Sunday (March 23) between 7:23 p.m. and 10:31 p.m.

If you were present at this location during this timeframe, were born in 1970 or later, and are not up to date with your measles vaccinations, call Huron Perth Public Health immediately.

This also includes those who were only present briefly as measles is highly contagious and can linger in the air for up to two hours.
