City council expenses came in at $441,000 last year.
That’s up three per cent year-over year.
Mayor Martin Ritsma topped the list at $110,000 in 2024, including a salary of $84,000.
Other variables for the mayor include per diems for meetings and boards, conferences and expenses.
Deputy Mayor Harj Nijjar was paid $23,617.
All other councillors earned a base salary of $21,724.
Councillors received an almost two per cent increase in pay compared to the year prior. All members of council also receive $4,000 in lieu of benefits.
The treasurer’s report was received for information at Monday’s (March 24) meeting.
