Another measles exposure is being reported by Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH).
The exposure happened at Listowel Memorial Hospital’s emergency department, including its waiting room, on Monday (March 24) from 7:43 p.m. until 11:45 p.m.
HPPH said if you were present during this timeframe, born in 1970 or after, and are not up to date with measles vaccinations, to call public health at 1-888-221-2133 ext. 3299.
This includes those who were present at the location only briefly as measles is highly contagious and can linger in the air for up to two hours.
HPPH completes case management and contact tracing for confirmed cases of measles.
